27 year old Andrew Lavigne was last seen in New Haven, Connecticut on February 2, 2021. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Background
Andrew was adopted out of Russia when he was five. Growing up he was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout, and worked as a lifeguard.
He struggles with alcohol abuse, is partially disabled, and walks with a cane. At the time of his disappearance he was living with a roommate in New Haven.
Disappearance
On February 2, 2021, Andrew “Valeri” Lavigne was last seen at his residence in New Haven, Connecticut. He hasn’t been seen since.
Lavigne has a history of substance abuse issues, is partially disabled, and uses a walking cane. There is serious concern for his safety and well being.
His loved ones say it’s uncharacteristic of him to go missing, as he talked to his cousin daily on the phone and wouldn’t go more than two weeks without contacting family.
He was officially reported missing to the East Lyme Police Department on February 16, 2021.
Investigation
When family members went to check on Andrew they found his medications and favorite pair of shoes inside his home, which they say he wouldn’t have left behind.
Appearance
White male with brown hair and blue/hazel eyes. Andrew stands 6’1 tall and weighs 153 pounds. He walks with a cane.
